Membership Dues

Annual dues:

  • Individual Membership $50
    • Includes: member rates for web advertising, TEAM voting rights, no non-member fees at TEAM events, eligibility for ‘rider’ points (on TEAM registered horses) toward year-end awards, and access to schooling at Honey Run Easement.
    • Unlimited Horses
    • Listing in the TEAM Professional Directory (If you are a professional)
  • Family Membership $50 first member, $25/each additional
    • (Each additional rider)
    • Note: to qualify, one family member must have and individual RIDER membership; that member’s listed address must be the permanent address of the additional family member(s).
    • Includes same rights as Individual Membership.
    • Unlimited Horses
    • Listing in the TEAM Professional Directory (if you are a professional)
  • Supporting (Non-Rider) Membership $10
    • Supporting the continued efforts of TEAM,

Step 1:

If you are a New Member, click on the ‘Join TEAM‘ button above, and select one of the following memberships to signup for (Individual, Professional, Family or Supporting Member).
– For Individual Membership:
1. Fill out demographic information.
2. Select the # of horses you want to add, if any.
3. Select if you want to be added to the professional’s directory.
4. Select your method of payment, either (Credit card – automatic renewal, one-time credit card, or pay by check)
5. Proceed to Step 2.

– For Family Membership:
1. Fill out demographic for the first rider.
2. Select # of horses you want to add, if any, and then the # of additional riders (Additional riders must be all at the same address)
3. Select if you want to be added to the professional’s directory.
4. Select your method of payment, either (Credit card – automatic renewal, one-time credit card, or pay by check)
5. Proceed to Step 2.

– For Supporting (non-rider) Membership:
1. Fill out the profile information for the supporting member.
2. Select # or horses you want to add, if any, and then the # of members/riders, if any.
3. Select if you want to be added to the professional’s directory.
4. Select your method of payment, either (Credit card – automatic renewal, one-time credit card, or pay by check)
5. Proceed to Step 2.

For existing members, if you need to edit any information, or add another horse, click on the ‘Member Sign in‘ button above, then click on whether you signed up for an Individual or Family membership, click on “view profile / edit profile” button, and follow the prompts. If you need to change your membership type, please use the following form.

For NEW members we also have the option of an online PDF application that you can fill out. If you would rather fill out the form, click on New Membership Application, and fill out the form to submit your membership application.

*Membership will not be valid until all signed forms, and payment has been received by our Membership Coordinator.

Step 2:

For ALL membership levels:

Once you click on the ‘Sign Up’ button, you will be taken to complete your registration consisting of:

1st – Rider/Member information – if you have signed up for a Family Membership, you will need to first add how many additional members, and click on the “add additional member” button to fill out their information for each additional rider/member.

2nd – Horse Information – You will need to enter information for every horse that you want to register under your account.
*We no longer require a registration fee for horses, but in order to receive points, horses have to be listed under an active members account.

3rd – Agreements – You will need to fill out and acknowledge both the TEAM Activity Release form, and the Honey Run Farms Release form. You will have to fill this out for each member/rider to be allowed to compete in TEAM events, and to be allowed to use Honey Run Easement property.

Payment Types:

To use your credit card for membership payment, there is a nominal processing fee to cover our costs.

If you want to pay by check, checks can be made payable to: The Eventing Association of Michigan

Things to know:

  • Access to the Honey Run Easement and accumulation of points towards year-end awards does not begin until all paperwork is recorded and all fees have been paid to the membership coordinator.

Eligibility for year end awards requires:

  1. Current TEAM Rider Membership for competitor
  • Membership must be updated prior to the competition where points would be accrued.
  • Points cannot be counted for non-members, or those whose membership has lapsed.
  • Horse needs to be listed under a member’s account for the rider/horse combo to receive points.
